Most CPAP machines can be powered by a 12V battery pack when using the compatible 12V adapter for your device. We also offer specific batteries for CPAP machines, which include cables for compatible devices. But you can purchase a general battery pack that can power all of your devices (phones & laptops), allowing you to gain more for your money.
The CPAP battery capacity depends on the battery pack chosen and your CPAP machine’s pressure settings. Typically, they can power your device for one to three nights. If you use a CPAP humidifier, it will use significantly more power; therefore, using waterless humidification can be more beneficial whilst away from home.
Using a precharged battery pack allows you to use your machine off-grid during power cuts and other instances, including if you’re on a camping holiday, allowing you to continue your therapy. Alternatively, if you often experience power outages that interfere with your therapy, choose one of our Pilot Lite batteries. When these batteries are plugged into mains power during a power cut, the CPAP batteries will still power your machine.
Most lithium-ion batteries are approved for travel by airlines, but we do recommend confirming with your airline before flying.
