With the new AirFit P10 from Resmed comes a mask that offers a new standard in quiet, unobtrusive CPAP therapy. Being around 50% quieter and 50% lighter than Resmed’s previous Nasal Pillows mask, the Swift FX, the AirFit P10 offers new levels of comfort in a CPAP mask.

The AirFit P10 has dramatically enhanced the effect of air diffusion exhalation in CPAP. The mask comes with a new QuietAir woven-mesh design to softly vent air away from the face so that it’s hardly noticeable to CPAP users and their partners.

Although some prefer the firmer feel of a nasal cushion mask, believing it will deliver a better seal and a more effective night of CPAP, this mask will still feel secure and able to contribute to a healthy life.

The simple, light yet effective design of the AirFit P10 comes in three parts, vent frame, headgear and nasal pillow. The pillow part can be easily added or detached using the top and bottom clips. The headgear can also be removed for complete disassembly.

The innovative QuickFit headgear part of the mask is designed to provide a snug fit without the need for tabs and clips. The split back straps can be adjusted to provide a looser or tighter fit to enable an effective yet comfy night of CPAP therapy.

The AirFit’s dual-wall nasal pillows are developed in such a way as to allow movement. The nasal pillow stems compress and morph in shape to enable an effective seal to be maintained if you change position during the night.

Combined with an ultra-light yet durable flexi-tube, this mask is a fantastic new development in CPAP therapy allowing the user comfort, freedom and a refreshing night’s sleep.

Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.

You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).

The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, nor are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.

A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postage (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.

CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.

Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.

Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.

Big improvement over previous pillows masks. As many who’ve read my reviews before will glean, I like to have a choice of the three main types of mask available to suit in order to reduce skin irritations and manage therapy better when I have a cold or hay fever problems.

I’ve recently bought the P10 nasal pillows mask, having had F&P’s Pilairo now for about a year and previously used the Swift FX.

After one month of using it I find it a very simple and comfortable mask to use, surprisingly quieter than the Pilairo Q, with a smaller contact area and less pinching of the end of the nose. Easy to fit and it comes complete with three sizes of pillows to suit.

Cleaning and assembly is simple, with the components all clipping together simply and positively, wheras the Pilairo Q can be hard to assemble (and can come apart at night) this is more secure.

Headgear is very simple, but for me I find it can ride up and cause poor fitting during the night, this seems to be getting better with use.

Venting is very well diffused and amazingly quiet, this easily on a par with the F&P Quiet masks, and does so without needing a replaceable diffuser, reducing cost and improving longevity.

To conclude this is a massive improvement on the Swift FX offering the same quality of seal and fit in a lighter and quieter, and more partner friendly package – defiinitely worth a try.

Very quiet, very comfortable. I have used three different types of nasal piloows masks and I find this to be the best one. It is very quiet, comfortable and does not leave pressure marks in the face. I am buying my second one

Improvement. Great discovery this, as before i was using a face mask which was affecting my nose skin, this doesn’t! Light weight, easy to put on, easier to clean too. Much easier to sleep with this mask on. Very quiet. The only downside so far is the silicone jets seem to effect my skin just inside my nose and cause some irritation. There is a bit of a “train line” in the morning on side of my face from the strap, but not too bad. Great product though and I highly recommended it!! I will re use when the time comes!

Best mask. This is the best type of mask and easy to use – I have 2, one for my main CPAP machine and one for my travel CPAP machine.

Good to start with, BUT fitting (head gear) get loose over the time :-(. I was using a few nasal masks, and the latest one was AirFit P10, and after a certain period, you really need to change the fitting, as it is loosing a grip, and I can’t fit mask properly and it drives me crazy during the night. Had a lot of sleepless nights. The latest one (AirFit 20) looks better, so will try it next month. ResMed charges a lot for the mask that barely last a year 🙁

Venting problems. After using this mask with no trouble for about six weeks, I found I was having trouble breathing out. The mesh was not letting was not letting the used air out properly. I chatted with a UK rep at Resmed. She was not interested. Have cleaned it in warm soapy water with a toothbrush, I also cleaned it in an ultra sonic cleaner and finally with a soft bristled brush. It is still difficult to breathe out with it and is not really safe when you are re-breathing stale air.

Early days but the Airflow P10 is impressing.. Changed to P10 recently, have used a few nasal masks in the past. It is lightweight, easy to use, quiet, and has a light touch on the skin of the face.

The headgear has a low profile, which is good on one hand, but may not give long life. Cannot see how to change the headgear only, this may mean replacing the completed pillow/ headgear assembly after 12 months. Not a cost effective option.

Early days, so far impressed, need more time to have a “full picture” evaluation

Best mask I’ve ever tried…and I’ve tried a few!. I love this mask. It is the fourth mask I’ve tried and the first that is the nasal pillows type. compared to the regular nasal masks this is a huge improvement. I don’t get any leakage of air now and my hair do doesn’t get destroyed in the night 🙂

Great product. Great product and fantastic service

    dick turpin.. wore masks !

Overall very good – Intus’ service is excellent and beyond question!. Great product and much better than the bigger masks. On day 4 the nasal “jets” are cutting into my lower nostril and are now very sore inside. I need headgear to slacken off a bit I think. Also as someone else commented cant for life of me workout how to detach head gear strap vs instructions and last time the strap lost elasticity way before rest of product which forced the change .

    Lesbert

Very lightweight and quiet. I have reservations as it causes a sore inner nostril.. Very lightweight and quiet. I have reservations as it causes a sore inner nostril and the head straps are tight, so it will be interesting to see how long they last. Meantime, it’s a great improvement on my last mask.

If you have to undergo this torture this mask is less traumatic than most. The mask is really light and quiet. Top marks for this. As mentioned by others the straps loosen with use. I notice resmed offer a tightener at additional cost. So probably recognise this problem. It is the first nasal pillow mask I have tried, and once you have trained yourself to keep your mouth closed it is really much less in humane than most. You can talk, see , wear specs, and don,t hiss like a steam train. If you do open your mouth, however, air under pressure gushes out which is unpleasant. Takes practice. Overall I would rate it as almost bearable, which for a cpap hater extraordinaire, is a pretty good score for me.

AirFit P10 Nasal Pillows Mask. The best mask I have found on the market yet, the best sleep in years.

The only fault is the head gear after a while it starts to loose it’s elasticaty so the mask will leak.
