BMC G3 CPAP Water Chamber

This is a replacement water chamber for the BMC G3 Humidified Auto CPAP Machine only. With humidification, the air you breathe during CPAP therapy feels more comfortable, and this can make it easier to adjust to using your treatment.

 

What does a humidifier do?

The chamber connects to the side of your device and requires distilled or filtered water to create humidification. The humidified air warms up the airflow, helping to prevent dryness and discomfort. Dry air can irritate the respiratory system, leading to symptoms like a sore throat and a dry nose or mouth. Humidification helps alleviate these symptoms by keeping the airways moist and reducing irritation.

Some individuals experience nasal congestion or sinus issues when using CPAP therapy, especially in dry environments. Humidification can help prevent these symptoms by keeping the nasal passages moist and reducing congestion.

 

When should I replace my water chamber?

The water chamber should be replaced if cracks or discolouration show. Depending on how it is taken care of, it can last between 3-12 months.

To help extend the lifespan of your chamber, regularly clean it and use fresh distilled or filtered water daily.
