The Somnofit-S is a mandibular advancement device (MAD) designed with slimmer dimensions than many MADs on the market. Its lighter design makes it easier to wear, as less material is in your mouth.

The device is a clinically proven treatment featuring eight mandibular advancement adjustment points to create a comfortable fit for as many users as possible.

 

How does it work?

The anti-snoring mouthguard uses the boil-and-bite method to create a customised fit. The gumshield sits comfortably in the mouth, bringing the lower jaw forward to create more space and prevent the narrowing of your airways to make breathing easier.

Snoring and apnoea events are both caused by the relaxation of the tissues in the throat that prevent airflow; the Somnofit-S directly addresses and solves this issue.

How do you clean the Somnofit-S?

For daily cleaning, Oscimed recommends using a denture-cleaning tablet.

Soak the device in warm water with a denture disinfectant tablet for at least half an hour and rinse it under running water before putting it back in your mouth.
