Why buy a Sleep Apnea Test with us?

Our Home Sleep Apnea Test offers a fast and affordable way to diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Our Sleep Study at home uses the innovative WatchPAT diagnostic device that is simple in its design and comfortable to wear. It monitors your blood oxygen level, heart rate, body position, movements, snoring intensity, and Peripheral Arterial Tone, a key signal for possible breathing issues during sleep.

The information it collected gives our NHS-qualified sleep specialists a thorough understanding of your sleep to diagnose if Obstructive Sleep Apnea is present.

Fast: You will get your results within 2 working days, and if you purchase CPAP equipment with us, you can start your Sleep Apnea treatment the next day.

Reliability: Our in-house sleep doctors are NHS-trained and have at least five years of experience scoring sleep studies. They are also accredited by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).

Confidential: Your results are yours alone. We have no obligation to inform any third party unless it is requested.

Convenient: The WatchPAT is for wearing overnight on your own bed. You do not need to schedule time off work for an overnight stay at a sleep clinic.

Best Alternative to NHS Sleep Clinic: The WatchPAT device provides testing accuracy comparable to a sleep apnea test in a hospital or sleep clinic. Our Home Sleep Apnea Test enables you to diagnose Obstructive Sleep Apnea without having to wait for a sleep test through the NHS, minimising delays in Sleep Apnea treatment.

How accurate are the results?

The WatchPAT device is the most clinically validated UK Home Sleep Apnea Test available. Its results correlate at 90% with the gold standard diagnostic tool (Polysomnography) used in a sleep clinic that requires an overnight stay .

No other At-Home Sleep Apnoea Test approved by the main regulatory body, the AASM, can provide this level of accuracy.

We have been a trusted, professional and reliable provider of sleep services since 2012.

What happens when I get my results?

The detailed results letter will offer treatment recommendations if the apnea test result is positive.

Further investigation

If you wish to receive treatment from the NHS, you can provide your Sleep Apnea Test results to your GP.

They may refer you to a sleep clinic, depending on the waiting time.

Can anyone take an In-Home Sleep Apnea Test?

Our test services are only available to people aged 18 or over. We also recommend not taking this test if your BMI is 45 or above. This is because any treatment is very likely to need to be overseen by a specialist, which is a level of care we are unable to provide. In this instance, we recommend discussing your sleep symptoms with your GP at your earliest convenience.

If you are an existing CPAP user, it is advised to pause using your therapy for five days before taking a test.

Acrylic nails, gel nails and nail polish will affect the accuracy of the test result. Before starting the test, remove nail coverings from the finger used by the pulse oximeter.

If you are suffering from a cold or feeling unwell, please wait until you have recovered before taking the test.
