Discover the AirFit F20 Full Face CPAP Mask with QuietAir

The AirFit F20 Full Face CPAP Mask with QuietAir by Resmed combines technology and comfort. The mask offers notable features and benefits, making it a popular choice for those looking for effective and comfortable CPAP therapy.

Superior Comfort

The AirFit F20 is a popular choice for many patients. In ResMed internal studies, 86% of the patients preferred the seal of AirFit F20 when compared to the current market-leading full-face masks. Most patients also said they prefer the stability and ease of use of this mask.

Notable features include:

Comfortable Design:

The AirFit F20 CPAP mask features a sleek, lightweight design for increased user comfort. It has a soft and flexible silicone cushion that moulds to the contours of the face. This provides a secure fit while minimising pressure points.

The magnetic headgear clips allow for effortless removal and reattachment. Mask adjustments are hassle-free, and the flexible fabric-lined frame delivers a breadth of fit while adding enhanced comfort.

Fabric frame supports:

The “arms” from the main frame of the AirFit F20 to the headgear have a fabric cover. This fabric cover prevents unnecessary silicone contact with the skin to prevent red marks or skin irritation.

QuietAir Technology:

The QuietAir technology of the AirFit F20 mask is great for those who value a quiet sleeping environment. The QuietAir elbow reduces noise by 89% and makes exhaled air leave the mask 70% more gently. This feature significantly reduces noise levels and minimises disturbances for both the wearer and their bed partner.

Advanced InfinitySeal Cushion:

The mask features a soft, dual-wall InfinitySeal silicone cushion. This allows for a looser fit while still comfortably contouring to the face. This helps to reduce air leaks.

The cushion on this mask combines two silicone finishes. The cushion has a smooth finish for a superior grip and a frosted texture over the bridge of the nose to reduce skin damage.

Clear Field of Vision:

The frame of the AirFit F20 provides a clear line of sight. This allows you to read, watch TV, or wear glasses comfortably before sleeping. The compact frame also reduces the feeling of claustrophobia that some users may experience.

Easy Maintenance:

Resmed has designed the AirFit F20 mask with simplicity in mind. It features easily detachable components for effortless cleaning and maintenance.

The AirFit F20 is compatible with almost all CPAP machines, ensuring seamless integration into your existing therapy setup. Furthermore, it is available in multiple sizes to accommodate various facial shapes.

We have found that the ResMed AirFit F20 does not size the same as other CPAP masks, including previous ResMed masks. We strongly recommend using the Sizing Guide in the Downloads tab before ordering. We advise you not to assume that being a medium in your current mask means you will be a medium in the F20.

Important: All sizes come with standard headgear. To obtain a larger or smaller headgear, you must purchase it separately. It is not possible to exchange or swap the one supplied. The standard size generally fits most patients, regardless of the mask size.

Once your mask arrives, we encourage you to watch this short step-by-step guide to achieve a perfect fit.

Always adjust the mask when lying down, as the shape of your face will change.

Due to the magnets used in this mask, it should not be used by patients that have implanted devices that may be affected by magnets. This extends to those with household members, caregivers, and bed partners that may be in close vicinity to the masks. Such devices include but not limited to:

* Pacemakers
* Implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD)
* Neurostimulators
* Magnetic metallic implants/electrodes/valves placed in upper limbs, torso, or higher (i.e. neck and head)

Mask Fit Insurance is available for this mask

If you are considering trying this mask for the first time, you can order in confidence using Mask Fit Insurance.

Mask Fit Insurance costs £14.99 for nasal masks and £19.99 for full face masks, and allows you to return this mask for a refund if unsuitable.

You have 28 days from the dispatch date to assess the mask and notify us that you are unhappy with it for any reason. You can return it and have it refunded (we must receive it back within 7 days of being notified).

The fee for the insurance is non-refundable once the mask is opened, as are any outgoing postage costs. The mask itself will be refunded in full.

A pre-paid returns label will be included for customers in the UK. We strongly recommend getting a proof of postage (which is free) as returns not received cannot be refunded. For overseas customers, the return postage will need to be arranged by the customer and this cannot be reimbursed.

CPAP masks purchased without insurance cannot be returned/refunded once opened for hygiene reasons, as explained in our returns policy.

Mask Fit Insurance must be ordered at the same time as the mask in question, and cannot be added retroactively.

Intus Healthcare reserve the right not to honour any orders containing multiple masks purchased with Insurance; please instead choose which mask you feel is most suitable and select the size required as per the sizing gauge (if applicable). Should you subsequently determine a different mask or size is required, you can of course return the first and order the other.

If you need any further information, please use the chat function (if available), or contact us.

How long does the AirFit F20 last?

The lifespan of a CPAP mask is typically between 6 to 9 months, depending on how well it is maintained. Regular cleaning and timely replacement of worn parts will prolong its use and ensure effective therapy.

How do you take apart a ResMed AirFit F20?

It is easy to take your AirFit F20 apart. Following these simple steps:

  • Remove the elbow from the frame by pressing the side buttons and pulling the elbow away.
  • Unclipping the magnets
  • Undo the upper headgear tabs and pull the strap away from the frame.
  • Hold the side of the frame between the lower and upper arms and gently pull the cushion away from the frame.
How do you clean a ResMed AirFit F20?

It’s recommended that masks be washed daily. Washing your face before applying the mask will benefit the quality of CPAP therapy.

You should disassemble the parts and rinse the frame, elbow and cushion in clean, warm, soapy water. Avoiding strong cleaners, as these could cause damage to the silicone cushion. Once cleaned, leave the parts to air dry.

We have several products to help keep your Resmed AirFit F20 in peak condition. We would suggest picking up some CPAP Mask Wipes and considering the SoClean 2 CPAP sanitiser.

Why would I need a full face mask?

A full face mask is recommended if you breathe through your mouth while you sleep, even if only for short periods. The AirFit F20, Full Face mask, will facilitate CPAP therapy through both the nose and mouth.

When will I need to replace my mask cushion?

You will need to replace the cushion every nine months or sooner if it shows signs of wear and tear. Replace the headgear when the elasticity becomes ineffective. You can find both items on the Airfit F20 Parts page.

It is more cost-effective to replace the entire mask if both the cushion and headgear need replacing.

Replace the cushion as soon as it starts to soften. Not doing so could lead to air leaks and reduce the effectiveness of your therapy.
