ResMed AirSense 10 Elite Fixed-Pressure CPAP Machine

The AirSense 10 Elite CPAP Machine is a premium, fixed-pressure device. If you have been prescribed a CPAP pressure setting, the ResMed AirSense 10 Elite is among the most popular fixed-pressure machines in the world, thanks to its advanced technology and the brand recognition that comes from being made by ResMed, one of the leading CPAP manufacturers. If you do not have a prescribed CPAP pressure, please consider the automatic version of this machine, the AirSense 10 AutoSet.

Designed to be intuitive and easy to use, you can simply plug in the AirSense 10 Elite and put your mask on. You do not even need to press Start – it has breathing detection and will start automatically once you put your mask on. It will also stop a few seconds after taking your mask off, too.

The AirSense 10 Elite’s AutoRamp function has sleep onset detection, allowing it to start delivering a low pressure to ease you into sleep. Then, after you fall asleep, it gradually increases the pressure to the prescribed level.

ResMed describe the motor inside the machine as “whisper-quiet”, allowing you and your bed partner a more peaceful night’s sleep.

Add HumidAir for even greater comfort.

If you need humidification, you can easily add it to this machine with a HumidAir Humidifier Water Chamber. For optimal humidification, it is recommended to combine that chamber with the AirSense 10 ClimateLine Heated Hose.

A humidifier warms the air and adds moisture to it, which helps prevent your mouth, nostrils and airway from drying out. If you often wake with a dry mouth – with or without CPAP, then a humidifier is recommended.

Please note: The images of the carry case show the HumidAir chamber to demonstrate the storage provided by the carry bag. The chamber is not included as standard but you can add this if desired or required.

myAir connectivity

Please be aware that this machine is not compatible with ResMed’s MyAir platform. However, you can view key data on the machine itself via the Sleep Report. This will tell you how much usage the machine has had, your AHI (Apnoea-Hypopnoea Index, essentially your Sleep Apnoea severity “score”), how well your mask is fitted, and humidification information.

Important Information: This is a ‘fixed pressure’ CPAP machine, which as the name suggests, operates at a specific pressure for the user. Before Intus can send it to you, we will need to set the machine’s pressure to suit you. If you know your CPAP pressure setting (normally a sleep clinic or your Doctor would tell you your setting if you have one), please send written confirmation to us. If you do not know your pressure, your best option is to buy an Auto-CPAP instead. Any questions – please call us on 0800 024 8050!
