ResMed AirSense 10 Auto CPAP Machine
The ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP machine has a range of new features. Is it made to give effective and comfortable CPAP therapy. The device has optional upgrades like the humidifier – called HumidAir – and the MyAir app for easy data access.
Features of AirSense 10 AutoSet:
The AutoSet system in the AirSense 10 uses 25 years of ResMed’s sleep therapy expertise. Here are some other notable features:
AutoRamp Technology: The ramp sees the machine start with a low pressure. When it feels you are asleep, it gradually increases the pressure to the prescribed level. This provides a gentle and comfortable start to the therapy and makes falling asleep easier.
SmartStart and SmartStop: The SmartStart feature starts therapy when the user begins to breathe into the mask. There is no need to press any buttons. When you wake up, removing the mask will activate the SmartStop feature and stop the machine.
Built-In Ambient Light Sensor: The device features a light sensor that detects the brightness of the room. The screen will adjust its brightness to prevent waking your partner if you need to get up during the night. The light will turn off by itself, so you can settle back to sleep easily.
Whisper-Quiet In Use: The AirSense 10 device has advanced motor and airflow technology, making it whisper-quiet in use. This helps reduce any disturbances for both the user and their bed partner.
Compact Carry Bag: For easy travel. The images may show the HumidAir water chamber to show the full storage capacity. The standard package does not include the water chamber, but it is available as an optional extra.
Manufacturer Warranty: 24 months
HumidAir Integration
The ResMed AirSense 10 CPAP machine easily connects with the HumidAir humidifier. This adds comfort to the therapy and reduces common side effects such as dryness and congestion.
Optimal Humidifier: The HumidAir system delivers warmer air throughout the night. It adjusts the moisture level in the airflow, reducing irritation and giving more comfortable therapy.
ClimateLineAir Tubing: The AirSense 10 uses the ClimateLineAir heated tube to keep the air warm. It provides consistent humidification while you sleep. This prevents water build-up (rain-out) in the tube.
User-Friendly Design: The HumidAir system is user-friendly, with easy water chamber access for cleaning. The automatic moisture control system also stops the need for manual adjustments.
Get more from your AirSense 10 with myAir connectivity
The AirSense 10 CPAP machine offers optional use of the MyAir app. The app provides useful insights for you to track your therapy progress. You must choose this when you buy your machine as it cannot be added later. Key features of the MyAir app are:
Therapy Data at Your Fingertips: MyAir gives you to access your therapy data. This includes your usage hours, mask fit statistics, and air leak rate. With this information, you can track your progress and make changes if needed.
Personalised Coaching and Tips: The app provides coaching and advice based on your usage data. This can help you improve your use of the therapy.
Goal Tracking and Achievements: Set your goals within the app and track your progress over time. Achieving goals shows you that CPAP is going well, motivating you to keep your therapy routine going.
Easy Remote Access: Healthcare professionals can access your therapy data, allowing them to problem-solve and suggest changes.
Sleep Score: The MyAir app calculates a Sleep Score, showing the quality of your sleep while using CPAP. It can then give advice and tips to help you sleep even better.
You must choose MyAir when you order if you want this feature. It costs an additional £100. MyAir uses a built-in function that you cannot add later.
If you choose not to have MyAir, you can still find some data through the machine’s screen rather than the app. The screen will be the only way to see the data. It is less detailed than what the MyAir App can show you but includes the most important things.
You can use any CPAP mask with this machine. The device does not include a mask, but we offer a wide range of ResMed Masks and masks from other brands. We can offer advice and support if you need help choosing one.
