Philips allows patients to keep on top of their therapy with the DreamStation CPAP range. As a result, the DreamStation Auto provides numerous ways for patients and health providers to view their sleep data.

• Your healthcare provider can download your data via the SD card (included with the CPAP machine).
• The colour display (on the machine) allows you to view vital statistics.
• If you have a compatible smart device (iOS /Android), you can use the DreamMapper App to view in-depth statistics and data graphs. You can also access DreamMapper via the DreamMapper website.

Optimised humidification temperatures.

You can pair the DreamStation Auto machine with a humidifier. The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is available separately.

The DreamStation Heated Humidifier has various temperature settings that you can adjust to suit your needs. It also features an adaptive mode that monitors the room’s humidity and adjusts the water’s temperature accordingly. Thus, you can rest assured that you should be getting the right level of humidification regardless.

The DreamStation Heated Humidifier slots neatly onto the central unit and shares the same power supply, so there’s no need for a second wall socket. If you are unsure if you need a humidifier or not, then you can read our humidifier guide.

Auto Start and Stop.

The DreamStation Auto can detect if and when you start or stop using your CPAP machine. For example, if you need a toilet break during the night, you do not need to worry about fumbling about for the right button. When you take your mask off, the machine will power down, and once it detects your breathing again, it will resume automatically.

Never forget to change your filters.

The Philips Respironics DreamStation range now has automatic reminders when each filter approaches the end of its lifespan. Modern CPAP machines requires no maintenance other than regular changing of the filters. Many patients do not realise how important this is; clogged filters can reduce the machine’s performance, and the filters will start to disintegrate over time.

Refined exhalation relief for enhanced comfort.

Phillips has refined their A-Flex functionality (their name for exhalation relief) to make the transitions between inhalation and exhalation smoother and more natural.
