You should only use pure distilled water in your DreamStation 2 CPAP; distilled water can be found at your local supermarket.

Distilled water is the best choice of water for CPAP humidifiers because it’s free of minerals and bacteria. Hospitals, labs, and factories often use distilled water instead of tap water because it prevents limescale buildup on devices. Helping your humidifier last longer.

How to clean your DreamStation 2 water chamber

To get the most from your humidifier and breathe in healthy air pressure, it is recommended to clean your water chamber daily after use.

The DreamStation 2 water chamber can be cleaned in a dishwasher on the top shelf. However, please use a gentle or light-load wash to prevent damage. After washing, allow the chamber to air dry away from direct sunlight.

When should I replace my DreamStation 2 water chamber?

It is recommended to replace the water chamber every six months. If your water chamber looks discoloured or cracked, it needs to be replaced to ensure you receive clean and healthy air pressure.
